AEON Specialized Bank (Former AEON Micro Finance (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.) was first established as a Microfinance institution as a pioneer of providing unsecure installment service. Since obtaining the Specialized Bank License, AEON Specialized Bank had started to issue Credit Card in 2016.
AEON Specialized Bank also aimed for customer’s convenience and payment solution, so the next step was to follow their group’s motto as “FAST, SIMPLE, and EASY”. This led to the introduction of “AEON Wallet Cambodia” in 2018, a cashless and convenient payment service to make the customer and merchant closer in the digital world.by allowing people to make payments and remittance without the use of cash or card. AEON is also looking to solve the inconvenience of carrying notes and coins of the Cambodian riel, the many-digit currency.
